録音機の成果 Song of White's Thrush

5/9早朝、里山に設置した録音機にトラツグミのさえずりが記録されていました。これまで3年のセンサスでは冬から早春にのみ記録されていたトラツグミが5月にもいることがわかり、新しい発見となりました。地域の野鳥を記録するということは、いろいろな手法を用いてようやく入り口が見えてくることなのだと、つくづく感じました。

It was the first record for me to record the song of  White's Thrush on 9th May, set up recorder in the forest near my house. I did not find any White's Thrush in May there on my own route census of bird researching.

It shows that we need to do a lot of way as many as possible to know the avifauna in my patch.
