2016年春の飛島 Spring Migration in Tobishima 2016

昨年に続いてAご夫妻のお誘いを受けて5/3-6に山形県飛島へ行ってきました。

私は日程に少し余裕があったので、ほかの皆さんより一日早く酒田市に入り、本間美術館で円山応挙と京都画壇の展示鑑賞と野鳥観察をしました。

伊藤若冲に関する展示があると、ものすごい混み合うのですが、ここではゆっくりと筆の流れを見ることができ、充実した時間でした。隣接する鶴舞園も緑が思っていた以上に深く、アカハラやアオジ、キビタキ、コムクドリなどが数多く飛来していました。駅前で、こんなに鳥たちがいるのはさすが山形です。散策路は細く、ほかの来園者の方も多くいるので、もしバードウォッチングをされる場合は双眼鏡のみでの観察をお勧めします。

飛島に入ると、汗が出るほどの暑さにびっくりしながらも、アオジ、オオルリ、キビタキが数多く見られました。5/4朝以降天気がやや崩れ、5/5になるとさまざまな鳥たちが避難のために島を訪れて多くのカメラマンを喜ばせておりましたが、私は6日朝に急にヒガラの群れやシロハラの群れが入り、自分が渡りという大きな流れの中にいることがわかったことが一番楽しい出来事でした。

キビタキやオオルリは初日以降に徐々に数が減り、コサメビタキやムシクイ類が増えていく動きを体感できたのは、とても有意義でした。

昨年と異なり、カラスバトは少なく感じました。コノハズクの声を聞くことはなかったのですが、滞在中に設置した録音機の確認がまだなので、最後の望みを託しているところです。

飛島で今年になって初めて確認した種類は43種。日本海側では、ものすごい種類の鳥たちが移動をしていることを実感した訪問となりました。Aさん、お誘いくださって本当にありがとうございました!

携帯電話の歩数計ですが、こんな記録でした。
周囲たった12kmの島です。
5/3 19972歩 14.7km
5/4 20019歩 15.5km
5/5 30458歩 23.0km
5/6 17200歩 13.4km

参考までに酒田市内を歩いたときの歩数は、5/2の記録で
10014歩 7.7km
でした。

とにかくよく歩いた4日間!

I stayed in Tobi-shima Island from 3rd to 6th May to watch migrating birds.

I was especially impressed by coming big flock of coal tit and Pale Thrush into the island to escape from storm. I realized that I was just in big stream of bird migration!

The bird list below in Tobishima and Sakata City, include regular sea line.
Totally 116 species we met!
